Hey there! My name is Tuan-Anh BUI (Bùi Tuấn Anh in Vietnamese), but you can call me Tuấn (pronounced /twuhn/) – easier to remember, right? 😉 I'm a software developer with roots in Vietnam and currently calling Brussels home. I'm passionate about tech, love to travel (when I can!), and have a soft spot for all things computer-related. Think of me as a friendly neighborhood tech enthusiast!
I honed my skills with a BSc in Computer Science from Hanoi University and a MSc in Computer Science from UCLouvain. I even dipped my toes into research at KyungHee University, because why not?

Skills and Interests
My journey in the tech world started with a deep dive into PHP and ASP.NET, where I obsessed over the tiniest HTML pixel. Since then, I've had the chance to play with everything from backend systems using Java and Node.js to crafting user interfaces with Vue and React. The blockchain buzz got me tinkering with Go and Rust, but these days, I'm all about C# and .NET—it's my current coding love affair!

I specialize in building robust and efficient applications within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. My focus is on creating scalable solutions that meet complex business needs. Think of me as your .NET wizard!

I have a strong interest in data engineering, where I leverage tools like Python, PySpark, and Polars to process and analyze large datasets. Numbers? Big data? Bring it on!

I'm always eager to explore new technologies and solve challenging problems. This passion drives my continuous learning and innovative approach to software development. Basically, I'm a tech-obsessed explorer!
Home Automation
As a smart home enthusiast, I run a local platform using Home Assistant from my home lab. This allows me to integrate and automate various IoT devices, enhancing convenience and efficiency in my daily life. My home is like a real-life sci-fi movie—minus the robots (for now!).
And other hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of activities that keep me engaged and learning. Reading is a constant passion, allowing me to explore new ideas and worlds. I'm also an avid video gamer, enjoying both the challenge and storytelling aspects of games. Travelling is another favorite hobby, as I love experiencing different cultures and places firsthand.
When travel isn't possible, like during the COVID lockdowns, I turn to coding as a creative outlet. It's a great way to problem-solve and build something new from the comfort of home. To stay healthy and energized, I make time for fitness, with a particular fondness for running. These diverse interests help me stay active, curious, and rarely bored for long.
